Matthew 17:17

“They have acted corruptly toward Him, They are not His children because of their defect; But are a perverse and crooked generation.

Yahweh has mixed within her a spirit of distortion; They have led Egypt astray in all that it does, As a drunken man strays into his vomit.

And with many other words he solemnly bore witness and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this crooked generation!”

I wish that you would bear with me in a little foolishness, but indeed you are bearing with me.

For we did not make known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, following cleverly devised myths, but being eyewitnesses of His majesty.
