He who is gracious to a poor man lends to Yahweh, And He will repay him for his bountiful deed.

Cast your bread on the surface of the waters, for you will find it after many days.

“Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?

“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’

“For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name because you are of Christ, truly I say to you, he will not lose his reward.

For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and continuing to minister to the saints.
