  • Luke 18:13But the tax collector, standing some distance away, was even unwilling to lift up his eyes to heaven, but was beating his chest, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, the sinner!’
  • Luke 18:16But Jesus called for them, saying, Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
  • Luke 18:17Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.”
  • Luke 18:19And Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone.
  • Luke 18:24And Jesus looked at him and said, How hard it is for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!
  • Luke 18:25For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
  • Luke 18:27But He said, “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God.”
  • Luke 18:29And He said to them, Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,
  • Luke 18:43Immediately he regained his sight and began following Him, glorifying God. And when all the people saw it, they gave praise to God.
