Leviticus 27:28

“Every devoted thing in Israel shall be yours.

“And you shall not bring an abomination into your house and become devoted to destruction like it; you shall utterly detest it, and you shall utterly abhor it, for it is devoted to destruction.

“And the city shall be devoted to destruction, it and all that is in it belongs to Yahweh; only Rahab the harlot and all who are with her in the house shall live because she hid the messengers whom we sent.

“They shall eat the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering; and every devoted thing in Israel shall be theirs.

“Moreover, they shall not sell or exchange any of it, or let this choice portion of land pass over to another; for it is holy to Yahweh.
