Leviticus 24:20

eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,

“You shall also say to the sons of Israel: ‘Any man from the sons of Israel or from the sojourners sojourning in Israel who gives any of his seed to Molech shall surely be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

Then Yahweh said to Moses, “The man shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.”

“Thus your eye shall not show pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

“Then all the men of his city shall stone him, and he will die; so you shall purge the evil from your midst, and all Israel will hear of it and fear.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’

For there was a tabernacle prepared: the first part, in which were the lampstand and the table and the sacred bread, which is called the holy place.
