Job 7:8

“But now he has died; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me.”

“For now I would have lain down and been quiet; I would have slept then; it would have been rest to me,

“Why then do You not forgive my transgression And take away my iniquity? For now I will lie down in the dust; And You will seek me earnestly, but I will not be.”

“If He swallows him up from his place, Then it will deny him, saying, ‘I never saw you.’

“The eye which saw him sees him no longer, And his place no longer beholds him.

“He lies down rich, but never again; He opens his eyes, and it is no longer.
