Job 35:9

“And if you indeed afflict him, and if he earnestly cries out to Me, I will surely hear his cry;

“You shall give him his wages on his day before the sun goes down, for he is afflicted and sets his soul on it, so that he will not cry against you to Yahweh and it become sin in you.

“He makes priests walk barefoot And subverts the enduring ones.

“For he has crushed and forsaken the poor; He has seized a house which he has not built.

So that they caused the cry of the poor to come to Him, And that He might hear the cry of the afflicted.

Then I looked again at all the acts of oppression which were being done under the sun. And behold, I saw the tears of the oppressed and that they had no one to comfort them; and on the side of their oppressors was power, but they had no one to comfort them.

And they do not cry out to Me in their heart When they wail on their beds; For the sake of grain and new wine they gather together as sojourners; They depart from Me.
