Job 31:16

“To the weary you have given no water to drink, And from the hungry you have withheld bread.

“You have sent widows away empty, And the might of the orphans has been crushed.

Do not rob the poor because he is poor, And do not crush the afflicted at the gate;

She extends her hand to the poor, And she stretches out her hands to the needy.

or mistreat anyone, or retain a pledge or commit robbery, but he gives his bread to the hungry and covers the naked with clothing;

And masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him.

Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
