Job 27:23

“He will not return again to his house, Nor will his place recognize him anymore.

“He is driven from light into darkness, And chased from the inhabited world.

“He flies away like a dream, and they cannot find him; Even like a vision of the night he is chased away.

‘For he adds transgression to his sin; He strikes his hands together among us, And multiplies his words against God.’”

All who pass along the way Clap their hands in derision at you; They hiss and shake their heads At the daughter of Jerusalem, “Is this the city of which they said, ‘The perfection of beauty, The joy of the whole earth’?”

‘For thus says Lord Yahweh, “Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet and were glad with all the scorn of your soul against the land of Israel,

There is no relief for your breakdown, Your wound is incurable. All who hear the report about you Will clap their hands over you, For on whom has not your evil passed continually?
