Job 18:6

“He is torn from the security of his tent, And they march him in step before the king of terrors.

“How often is the lamp of the wicked put out, Or does their disaster fall on them? Does God apportion destruction in His anger?

When His lamp shone over my head, And by His light I walked through darkness,

For You light my lamp; Yahweh my God illumines my darkness.

The way of the wicked is like thick darkness; They do not know over what they stumble.

For there will be no future for the evil one; The lamp of the wicked will go out.

But the wicked are like the tossing sea, For it cannot be quiet, And its waters toss up refuse and mud.

“And when I extinguish you, I will cover the heavens and darken their stars; I will cover the sun with a cloud, And the moon will not give its light.
