Jeremiah 51:54

O daughter of Babylon, you devastated one, How blessed will be the one who repays you With the recompense with which you have recompensed us.

The oracle concerning Babylon which Isaiah the son of Amoz beheld.

Like heat in a dry land, You subdue the rumbling of strangers; Like heat by the shadow of a cloud, the song of the ruthless is silenced.

“The noise of battle is in the land, And great destruction.

At the sound, “Babylon has been seized!” the earth is shaken, and an outcry is heard among the nations.
