Jeremiah 18:22

The arrogant have dug pits for me, Men who are not in accord with Your law.

‘For wicked men are found among My people; They watch like fowlers lying in wait; They set a trap; They catch men.

Should good be repaid with evil? For they have dug a pit for me. Remember how I stood before You To speak good on their behalf, So as to turn away Your wrath from them.

But let that man be like the cities Which Yahweh overthrew without relenting, And let him hear an outcry in the morning And a shout of war at noon,
