James 5:7

that I, Yahweh, will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rains, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil.

“For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and will then repay each one according to his deeds.

“Truly I say to you, there are some of those who are standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”

Jesus *said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!”

Therefore this saying went out among the brothers that this disciple would not die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but only, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?”

And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

Do not slander one another, brothers. He who slanders a brother or judges his brother, slanders the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.

Your gold and your silver have rusted, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire. You have stored up such treasure in the last days!

Do not groan, brothers, against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged. Behold, the Judge is standing right at the door.

As an example, brothers, of suffering and patience, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord.
