Isaiah 8:9

‘Therefore thus says Yahweh concerning the king of Assyria, “He will not come to this city or shoot an arrow there; and he will not come before it with a shield or throw up a siege ramp against it.

‘Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, whom you are now fearing; do not be afraid of him,’ declares Yahweh, ‘for I am with you to save you and deliver you from his hand.

He says, “You are My instrument of shattering, My weapon of war; And with you I shatter nations, And with you I destroy kingdoms.

“Be prepared, and prepare yourself, you and all your assembly that are assembled about you, and be a guard for them.

Call out this message among the nations: Set yourselves apart for a war; rouse the mighty men! Let all the men of war approach, let them come up!
