Isaiah 7:14

“Then it will sweep on into Judah; it will overflow and pass through; It will reach even to the neck; And the spread of its wings will fill the breadth of Your land, O Immanuel.

For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

“Now this shall be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do this word that He has spoken:

“In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell securely; And this is His name by which He will be called, ‘Yahweh our righteousness.’

‘This will be the sign to you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘that I am going to punish you in this place, so that you may know that My words will surely be established against you for evil.’

The word of Yahweh which came to Hosea the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

“Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”

“And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.

“And this will be the sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
