Isaiah 51:9

“God will not turn back His anger; Beneath Him crouch the helpers of Rahab.

For the choir director. Of the sons of Korah. A Maskil. O God, we have heard with our ears, Our fathers have recounted to us The work that You did in their days, In the days of old.

You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the sea monsters in the waters.

I give thought to the days of old, The years of long ago.

You Yourself crushed Rahab like one who is slain; You scattered Your enemies with Your strong arm.

Yahweh reigns, He is clothed with majesty; Yahweh has clothed and girded Himself with strength; Indeed, the world is established, it will not be shaken.

In that day Yahweh will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.

Even Egypt, whose help is vain and empty. Therefore, I have called her “Rahab who has ceased.”

Awaken yourself! Awaken yourself! Arise, O Jerusalem, You who have drunk from the hand of Yahweh the cup of His wrath; The chalice of reeling you have drained to the dregs.

Awake, awake, Clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; Clothe yourself in your glorious garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; For the uncircumcised and the unclean Will no longer come into you.

Yahweh has bared His holy arm In the sight of all the nations, That all the ends of the earth may see The salvation of our God.

“Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh; for He is aroused from His holy habitation.”

“And they will pass through the sea of distress, And He will strike the waves in the sea, So that all the depths of the Nile will dry up; And the pride of Assyria will be brought down, And the scepter of Egypt will depart.
