Isaiah 4:1

So she conceived and bore a son and said, “God has taken away my reproach.”

When a man grasps his brother in his father’s house, saying, “You have a cloak, you shall be our ruler, And these ruins will be under your hand,”

Moreover, Yahweh said, “Because the daughters of Zion are haughty And walk with outstretched necks and seductive eyes, And go along with mincing steps And tinkle the bangles on their feet,

I will make mortal man scarcer than fine gold And mankind than the gold of Ophir.

“Do not be afraid, for you will not be put to shame; And do not feel dishonored, for you will not be humiliated; But you will forget the shame of your virginity, And the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.

“Their widows will be more numerous before Me Than the sand of the seas; I will bring against them, against the mother of a choice man, A destroyer at noonday; I will suddenly bring down on her Anguish and terror.

“This is the way the Lord has dealt with me in the days when He looked upon me to take away my disgrace among men.”
