Isaiah 2:13

The voice of Yahweh breaks the cedars; Indeed, Yahweh breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

He will cut down the thickets of the forest with an iron axe, And Lebanon will fall by the Mighty One.

The land mourns and languishes, Lebanon is humiliated and withers; Sharon is like a desert plain, And Bashan and Carmel lose their foliage.

“I will lay waste the mountains and hills And dry up all their vegetation; I will make the rivers into coastlands And dry up the pools of waters.

“Thus says Yahweh, ‘Just so will I ruin the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem.

“Of oaks from Bashan they have made your oars; With ivory they have inlaid your deck of boxwood from the coastlands of Cyprus.

“And I will cut off the cities of your land And pull down all your fortifications.

A day of trumpet and loud shouting Against the fortified cities And the high corner towers.

when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day, and to be marveled at among all who have believed—for our witness to you was believed.
