Isaiah 19:8

And were on many waters. The grain of Shihor, the harvest of the Nile was her revenue; And she was the nations’ gain.

“He will also come and strike the land of Egypt; those who are meant for death will be given over to death, and those for captivity to captivity, and those for the sword to the sword.

“Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt and prophesy against him and against all Egypt.

Are you better than No-amon, Which sits along the waters of the Nile, With water surrounding her, Whose rampart was the sea, Whose wall consisted of the sea?

Will they therefore empty their net And continually kill nations without sparing?
