Hosea 11:1

“Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says Yahweh, “Israel is My son, My firstborn.

A Song of Ascents. “Many times they have assailed me from my youth up,” Let Israel now say,

“I have forsaken My house; I have abandoned My inheritance; I have given the beloved of My soul Into the hand of her enemies.

“Then I will give her her vineyards from there And the valley of Achor as a door of hope. And she will sing there as in the days of her youth, As in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.

And he remained there until the death of Herod, in order that what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet would be fulfilled, saying, “Out of Egypt I called My Son.”
