Hosea 10:14

“Deliver me, I pray, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau; for I fear him, lest he come and strike me down with the mothers and the children.

Shalmaneser king of Assyria went up against him, and Hoshea became his servant and paid him tribute.

Their infants also will be dashed to pieces Before their eyes; Their houses will be plundered And their wives ravished.

Samaria will be held guilty, For she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword; Their infants will be dashed in pieces, And their pregnant women will be ripped open.

“For on the day that I punish Israel’s transgressions, I will also punish the altars of Bethel; The horns of the altar will be cut in pieces, And they will fall to the ground.

“And I will cut off the cities of your land And pull down all your fortifications.
