Genesis 21:22

Now Abimelech came to him from Gerar with his adviser Ahuzzath and Phicol the commander of his army.

Then they said, “We see plainly that Yahweh has been with you; so we said, ‘Let there now be an oath between us—between you and us—and let us cut a covenant with you,

and he said to them, “I see your father’s face, that it is not friendly toward me as formerly, but the God of my father has been with me.

Now his master saw that Yahweh was with him and how Yahweh caused all that he did to succeed in his hand.

Thus Samuel grew, and Yahweh was with him and let none of his words fall to the ground.

and came to the fortified city of Tyre and to all the cities of the Hivites and of the Canaanites, and they went out to the south of Judah, to Beersheba.
