Genesis 1:16

These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that Yahweh God made earth and heaven.

Yours is the day, Yours also is the night; You have established the light and the sun.

To Him who made the great lights, For His lovingkindness endures forever:

The sun to rule by day, For His lovingkindness endures forever,

The moon and stars to rule by night, For His lovingkindness endures forever.

Thus says Yahweh, Who gives the sun for light by day And the statutes for the moon and the stars for light by night, Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar; Yahweh of hosts is His name:
