The oracle concerning Tyre. Wail, O ships of Tarshish, For Tyre is destroyed, without house or harbor; It is revealed to them from the land of Cyprus.

“I will bring terrors on you, and you will be no more; though you will be sought, you will never be found again,” declares Lord Yahweh.

“All who know you among the peoples Are appalled at you; You have become terrified, And you will cease to be forever.”’”

“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had been performed in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
