Ezekiel 22:20

“I will also turn My hand against you, And will smelt away your dross as with lye And will remove all your alloy.

“Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

“I will surely gather them up,” declares Yahweh; “There will be no grapes on the vine And no figs on the fig tree, And the leaf will wither; And what I have given them will pass away.”’”

‘And I will pour out My indignation on you; I will blow on you with the fire of My fury, and I will give you into the hand of brutal men, craftsmen of destruction.

“Thus I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My fury; their way I have brought upon their heads,” declares Lord Yahweh.

“Therefore I poured out My wrath on them for the blood which they had shed on the land, because they had defiled it with their idols.

“But whoever does not fall down and worship shall immediately be cast into the midst of a furnace of blazing fire.”

Even though they hire allies among the nations, Now I will gather them up; And they will begin to diminish Because of the burden of the king of princes.
