Ezekiel 18:9

‘So you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man does them, he shall live by them; I am Yahweh.

“Thus you will know that I am Yahweh; for you have not walked in My statutes, nor have you executed My judgments, but have executed according to the judgments of the nations around you.”’”

“Yet you say, ‘Why should the son not bear the punishment for the father’s iniquity?’ But the son has done justice and righteousness and has kept all My statutes and done them. He shall surely live.
