Exodus 18:3

Then she gave birth to a son, and he named him Gershom, for he said, “I have been a sojourner in a foreign land.”

So Moses took his wife and his sons and mounted them on a donkey and returned to the land of Egypt. Moses also took the staff of God in his hand.

Then the sons of Dan set up for themselves the graven image; and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of the Danites until the day of the exile of the land.

“At this remark, Moses fled and became a sojourner in the land of Midian, where he was the father of two sons.
