Exodus 16:23

And Moses said to them, “Let no man leave any of it until morning.”

‘Six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, holy to Yahweh; whoever does any work on the sabbath day shall surely be put to death.

“Six days work may be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a holy day, a sabbath of complete rest to Yahweh; whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.

“You shall not kindle a fire in any of your places of habitation on the sabbath day.”

‘Observe the sabbath day to keep it holy, as Yahweh your God commanded you.

“So You made known to them Your holy sabbath, And commanded to them commandments, statutes and law, By the hand of Your servant Moses.

“You shall not bring a load out of your houses on the sabbath day nor do any work, but keep the sabbath day holy, as I commanded your fathers.
