Exodus 16:15

“In the wilderness He fed you manna which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do good for you in the end,

“You gave bread from heaven for them for their hunger, You brought forth water from a rock for them for their thirst, And You said to them to enter in order to possess The land which You swore to give them.

They asked, and He brought quail, And He satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

“Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’”
