Exodus 12:46

‘They shall leave none of it until morning nor break a bone of it; according to all the statute of the Passover they shall celebrate it.

For a multitude of the people, even many from Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise than what was written. For Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, “May Yahweh, who is good, atone

when you brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My sanctuary to profane it, even My house, when you brought near My food, the fat and the blood. So they made My covenant void—this in addition to all your abominations.

For these things came to pass in order that the Scripture would be fulfilled, “Not a bone of Him shall be broken.”

By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, so that he who destroyed the firstborn would not touch them.
