Deuteronomy 32:24

“He sucks the poison of cobras; The viper’s tongue kills him.

“For behold, I am sending serpents against you, Vipers, for which there is no charm, And they will bite you,” declares Yahweh.

And the captain of the bodyguard had taken Jeremiah and said to him, “Yahweh your God promised this calamity against this place;

They will lick the dust like a serpent, Like crawling things of the earth. They will come trembling out of their fortresses; To Yahweh our God they will come in dread, And they will be afraid before You.
