Deuteronomy 31:29

Now the earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

lest you act corruptly and make a graven image for yourselves in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female,

“When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you, in the last days you will return to Yahweh your God and listen to His voice.

“They have acted corruptly toward Him, They are not His children because of their defect; But are a perverse and crooked generation.

“Then He said, ‘I will hide My face from them; I will see what their end shall be; For they are a perverse generation, Sons in whom is no faithfulness.

“Would that they were wise, that they had insight into this, That they would understand their future!

“Now I have come to give you an understanding of what will happen to your people in the last days, for the vision pertains to the days yet future.”
