Deuteronomy 1:34

“So Yahweh’s anger burned in that day, and He swore an oath, saying,

“Now behold, you have risen up in your fathers’ place, a brood of sinful men, to add still more to the burning anger of Yahweh against Israel.

“Now the time that it took for us to come from Kadesh-barnea until we crossed over the brook Zered was thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war came to an end from within the camp, as Yahweh had sworn to them.

God heard and was filled with wrath And greatly rejected Israel;

And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient?
