Acts 28:23

for I have five brothers—in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over forty days and speaking about the things concerning the kingdom of God.

Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he proclaimed the good news about Jesus to him.

But on that very night, the Lord stood at his side and said, “Take courage; for as you have solemnly borne witness to My cause at Jerusalem, so you must bear witness at Rome also.”

“But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, I do serve the God of our fathers, believing everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets;

preaching the kingdom of God and teaching concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, unhindered.

And at the same time also prepare me a lodging, for I hope that through your prayers I will be graciously given to you.
