2 Samuel 7:25

so that Yahweh may establish His promise which He spoke concerning me, saying, ‘If your sons keep their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, He said, you shall not have a man cut off from the throne of Israel.’

“So now, O God of Israel, let Your word truly endure which You have spoken to Your servant, my father David.

Now it happened when David inhabited his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, “Behold, I inhabit a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of Yahweh is under tent curtains.”

Cause Your word to be established for Your slave, As that which produces fear for You.

“David found favor in the sight of God, and asked that he might find a dwelling place for the God of Jacob.
