2 Corinthians 11:13

Thus says Yahweh of hosts, “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you. They are leading you into vanity; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of Yahweh.

“So do not listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, ‘You will not serve the king of Babylon,’ for they prophesy a lie to you;

But this was because of the false brothers secretly brought in, who had sneaked in to spy out our freedom which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to enslave us.

Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ even from envy and strife, but some also from good will;

Beware of the dogs! Beware of the evil workers! Beware of the mutilation!

For many walk—of whom I often told you, and now tell you even crying—as enemies of the cross of Christ,

For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision,

But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.

‘I know your deeds and your toil and perseverance, and that you cannot bear with those who are evil, and you put to the test those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and you found them to be false;
