2 Chronicles 7:20

“For if you turn away from following Him, He will once more abandon them in the wilderness, and you will destroy all these people.”

and Yahweh uprooted them from their land in anger and in fury and in great wrath, and He cast them into another land, as it is this day.’

‘So I will hurl you out of this land into the land which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers; and there you will serve other gods day and night, for I will grant you no favor.’

“Many nations will pass by this city; and they will say to one another, ‘Why has Yahweh done thus to this great city?’

provoking Me to anger with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you are entering to sojourn, so that you might be cut off and become an imprecation and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

‘Therefore, I will bring the most evil of the nations, and they will possess their houses. I will also make the pride of the strong ones cease, and their holy places will be profaned.
