nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than furthering the stewardship from God which is by faith.

for bodily training is only of little profit, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.

holding to a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Keep away from such men as these.

But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern both good and evil.
