1 Kings 3:9

Then all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had handed down, and they feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him to do justice.

And all the earth was seeking the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart.

“Only Yahweh give you insight and understanding, and give you command over Israel, so that you may keep the law of Yahweh your God.

In that night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask what I should give to you.”

“Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people, for who can do justice for this great people of Yours?”

Of Solomon. O God, give the king Your judgments, And Your righteousness to the king’s son.

‘But as for you, are you seeking great things for yourself? Do not seek them; for behold, I am going to bring calamity on all flesh,’ declares Yahweh, ‘but I will give your life to you as spoil in all the places where you may go.’”

“And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men And knowledge to men of understanding.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
