1 Kings 1:37

“And also, the king’s servants came to bless our lord King David, saying, ‘May your God make the name of Solomon better than your name and his throne greater than your throne!’ And the king bowed himself on the bed.

Now David became old and full of days, and he made his son Solomon king over Israel.

So they ate and drank that day before Yahweh with great gladness. David’s Officials and Sons Pledge Allegiance And they made Solomon the son of David king a second time, and they anointed him as ruler for Yahweh and Zadok as priest.
