1 Corinthians 9:16

“Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against Yahweh by ceasing to pray for you; but I will instruct you in the good and upright way.

for we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

“I have coveted no one’s silver or gold or clothes.

I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.

If others share this authority over you, do we not more? Nevertheless, we did not use this authority, but we endure all things so that we will cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.

So also the Lord directed those who proclaim the gospel to get their living from the gospel.

not because we do not have the authority, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you, so that you would imitate us.
