1 Corinthians 5:1

‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife; it is your father’s nakedness.

“A man shall not take his father’s wife so that he will not uncover his father’s skirt.

‘Cursed is he who lies with his father’s wife because he has uncovered his father’s skirt.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’

But if any has caused sorrow, he has caused sorrow not to me, but in some degree—in order not to say too much—to all of you.

So although I wrote to you, it was not for the sake of the offender nor for the sake of the one offended, but that your earnestness on our behalf might be manifested to you in the sight of God.
