1 Corinthians 14:1

“Afterward you will come to the hill of God where the Philistine garrison is; and it shall be as soon as you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, tambourine, flute, and a lyre before them, and they will be prophesying.

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.

But you earnestly desire the greater gifts. And I will yet show you a more excellent way.

And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophecy is for a sign not to unbelievers but to those who believe.

But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all;

Therefore, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak in tongues.
